This time, REINISTE will raise a story about one of the Availability Improvement Program (AIP) jobs that is currently almost completed by the Rekadaya Elektrika (RE) project team, namely the Procurement Work of the Feed Water Pipe Bypass Line Modification and Steam Drain High Preassure Heater (HPH) owned by PT PLN Nusantara Power Tanjung Awar-awar Generating Unit located in Tuban, East Java.
It is said to be almost complete, because currently the progress of work which includes mechanical, instrument and electrical work which is the responsibility of RE has reached 100%. And currently leaving the commissioning work, namely RR or Reability Run for 2×24 hours at maximum load to ensure the feasibility of operation of the HPH Feed Water and Steam Drain pipe installations and the implementation of operational training.
Rekadaya Elektrika Efforts Complete Unit GT 6 PLTG Pesanggaran 2×100 MW
Good news has come again from the PT Rekadaya Elektrika (RE) project team on the Island of the Gods, namely the Pesanggaran 2×100 MW Gas Power Plant (PLTG), which is a relocation project from Grati. After last November 1 2022, one of the Pesanggaran 2×100 MW (GT 5) PLTG units has officially operated and became one of the suppliers of electricity supply at the G20 Summit event.
Thanks to the well-established collaboration between team members in the field and the Indonesia Power and
Cogindo teams, several milestone stages for the GT 6 PLTG Pesanggaran unit have been successfully implemented according to the target, as follows:
First Firing (06 March 2023)
First Synchro (07 March 2023)
Performance Test (11 March 2023)
Reliability Run (12 March 2023)
The purpose of carrying out the Performance Test (PT) and Reliability Run (RR) is to determine the reliability of the GT 6 unit and as part of the stages required for the issuance of an Operational Worthy Certificate (SLO) from Pursetif PT PLN (Persero). The contribution made by RE so that the implementation of the Performance Test and Reliability Run was carried out successfully, including ensuring that the common system, grounding system, fire fighting system and cooling system can operate properly.
As of the 3rd week of March, the progress of work in the field which is RE’s responsibility has reached 93%. The scope of work that remains is the completion/finishing of common facility areas such as permanent road access, drainage, security post and trench cover.
Through the enthusiasm of the project team to make a real contribution in strengthening the reliability of electricity supply in the Bali Region and its surroundings, it is hoped that the 2×100 MW Pesanggaran PLTG will be fully completed in mid-2023 according to the set targets.

ENERGIZED TL 275 KV PAYAKUMBUH – GARUDA SAKTI LINE #2
Another
joyful moment was delivered by colleagues from the 275 kV Payakumbuh – Garuda
Sakti Transmission line project team. This is because on February 14, 2023 it
has succeeded in energizing line 2, which is a ground steel wire (GSW), whereas
previously, on January 31, 2023, it had succeeded in energizing line 1, which
is an optical ground wire (OPGW).
The
success of applying voltage to the two 275 kV Payakumbuh – Garuda Sakti TL line
circuits located in Kapalo Koto Village, Payakumbuh District, is expected to
immediately support system reliability and optimize the 275 kV Payakumbuh –
Perawang SUTET Transmission which spans 2 provinces, namely West Sumatra
(Payakumbuh ) and Riau Province (Perawang) and is the backbone of the Sumatra
transmission line.
Our
appreciation goes to the project team in the field led by Charles GP Siburian
as the Project Manager (PM). Hopefully this spirit of success will spread to
other projects.
Energized GI 150 kV Kuala Pembuang
At
the beginning of February 2023, very proud news came again from the RE project
team, the 150 kilo Volt (kV) substation (GI) project, a cross-Kalimantan
development. The RE project team immediately energized the 150 KV Kuala
Pemburan 2 Line Bay 1 Trafo Bay substation project located in Pematang Panjang
Village, Seruyan Hilir Timur District, Seruyan Regency, Central Kalimantan.
Not
spared from several technical and non-technical obstacles, the RE project team
continues to make progress in contributing to the strengthening of electric
power, especially in Kuala Pemburan and in general for Seruyan District.
Project Trasmission Line 70 kV GI Namrole-Namlea
Still
around Eastern Indonesia, this time we will visit South Buru Island-Maluku, the
location of one of the transmission line projects being worked on by PT
Rekadaya Elektrika (RE). The 70 kV Namrole – Namlea Transmission Line project
will connect two substations (GI), namely Namrole GI and Namlea GI, which cross
7 villages with a total distance of 90.3 kilometers.
Entering
the end of January, the overall progress of the work has reached 84.12%
(leading from the target of 80.77%). Currently, the total land that has been
acquired has reached 93.16%, with a total of 216 foundations that have been
completed, of the target of 234 tower foundations (92.31%). (72.65%).
The
Namrole-Namlea 70 kV TL Project is also not free from a number of technical and
non-technical challenges. One of the obstacles faced was the rocky location of
the land, which made it difficult for the field team to work. However, the team
in the field has exerted maximum effort, including using jack hammers and heavy
equipment (excavators) to level the roads and the foundation construction
sites.
The
RE project team continues to make progress in the construction of this
transmission line, so that it can immediately meet the electricity needs of the
people on South Buru Island, Maluku.

signing of the Cooperation Contract Agreement between PT Rekadaya Elektrika
(RE) and PT Dewata Clean Energy took place for the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
Terminal Development Project located in Bali.
The LNG Terminal
Infrastructure Development is a supporting facility project that functions to
provide primary energy needs for PT Indonesia Power’s Gas Power Plant (PLTG)
located in Pesanggaran, Bali.
PT DEB is a joint venture
between Perusda Bali and PT Titis Sampurna. The signing procession was attended
by Mr. Jonner MP Pardosi as the Main Director of RE and witnessed by Mr. Vernon
S Tampubolon as the Director of Marketing and Business Development and other RE
Directors. Meanwhile, from PT DEB, Mr. Cokorda Alit Indrawardana as the Main
Director attended, and also accompanied Mr. Ananta as the Director of Business
Development at Perusda Bali, as well as the Board of Directors of PT Titis
Sampurna namely Mr. Thomas Aquino as Managing Director and Mr. Ferry Fahiza as

Trasmission Line 150 kV Piru – Kairatu
This time PT Rekadaya Elektrika (RE) will review the progress of the work of one of the transmission projects located in Central Maluku and Seram districts, namely the Piru-Kairatu 150 kV Transmission Line.
The electricity infrastructure project owned by PLN UPP Maluku which is entrusted to Rekadaya Elektrika, will later combine 2 (two) Piru Substations (GI) and Kairatu GI, with a total of 123 towers.
As of the 2nd week of January, work progress had reached 45.487% (leading) where land clearing and foundation construction work had progressed significantly.
The total installed foundations are currently 72 foundations (of the target of 123 foundations), with a transmission line of 91 kms. TL 150 kV Piru – Kairatu is planned to be energized at the end of 2023.
Like the projects that Rekadaya Elektrika has worked on, the Piru-Kairatu TL project also faced several technical problems in the field during the construction process. Such as access to material alerts which is difficult because of the hilly terrain and high rainfall in the last few months.
However, the RE Project Team continues to strive and provide the best results to achieve progress in the construction of this transmission line, so that it can immediately meet the electricity needs on Seram Island, Maluku. Electrical Rekadaya will always play an active role and make a real contribution in building and increasing the reliability of the electricity system throughout Indonesia.
